Beauty injections, that is, Botox, became known to medicine in the 89th year of the last century. By 2010, revenues from the sale of the drug amounted to more than one billion dollars.

It is expected that over the next few years, profits from Botox will increase significantly. The reason for this popularity of the drug is that over time, more and more new actions of the drug are discovered. Now Botox is used not only to eliminate wrinkles, but also for the treatment of hyperhidrosis and even in the treatment of migraines.

And recently, Australian experts have discovered another property of this amazing drug, which undoubtedly should please all people suffering from bronchial asthma. It was found that Botox injections can stop severe asthmatic attacks.

Thirty people have already been selected to participate in the experiment, who will soon experience the alleged effectiveness of the drug on themselves.

All participants will be given Botox injections into the larynx to relax the muscles, the spasms of which cause suffocation during the development of an asthma attack.

The study is planned for twelve months, although the authors suggest that a positive result can be seen within three months from the start of therapy.

Researchers admit that it is impossible to completely cure the disease with Botox, but injections will significantly reduce the severity of asthmatic attacks.
